Proud of my love: Virat Kohli reviews Anushka Sharma's web series Paatal Lok

Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli has posted his review for Anushka Sharma's web series Paatal Lok, which was recently released.

MUMBAI: The world has shifted online since the Coronavirus outbreak started. While all outdoor activities are prohibited amid the global catastrophe, online games and movies have gone into the driving seat. In these times, Anushka Sharma's web series Paatal Lok was also released and now the actress' husband and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has posted his review for the same.

Anushka, who is an established actress in the Indian film industry, was behind the camera in this series instead. Kohli took to Instagram on Saturday and hailed his wife's work as he described the series as a 'masterpiece'. Anushka has worked as an executive producer for all 9 episodes of the series that is creating quite a buzz among fans at present.

'Having watched the whole season of PAATAL LOK a while ago, I knew it's a masterpiece of storytelling, screenplay and tremendous acting. Now having seen how people loved it too, just confirmed how I saw the show. Proud of my love @anushkasharma for producing such a gripping series and believing in her team along with our bhaiji @kans26 . Well done brother,' Kohli captioned the post on Instagram.

Anushka and Virat are in lockdown, and the couple has regularly been posting pictures and videos on social media, updating fans about their life in lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The two have also contributed heavily towards India's fight against this invisible enemy that has affected the lives of the entire country.

Other than making donations from their own pockets, Anushka and Virat have also been participating in fundraising campaigns to help ensure that the poor and needy people don't go hungry in these challenging times.

Kohli, on Friday, also shared an inspiring video of him doing some running drills as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) starts to chalk down a new training regimen for Indian players, possibly in the 4th phase of the lockdown.
