MUMBAI:In 2020, a show titled Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story premiered on Sony LIV. It was based on the real story of stockbroker Harshad Mehta, and was directed by Hansal Mehta. It received a fantastic response, and Pratik Gandhi who played the lead role in the series became a star.

Now, a spiritual sequel to the show titled Scam 2003 is all set to premiere on Sony LIV on 1st September 2023. The series stars Gagan Dev Riar and it is based on the life of Abdul Karim Telgi.

After teasers, today the makers of Scam 2003 have released the trailer of the series. The trailer is quite interesting, and surely keeps you hooked throughout. After watching the trailer, you will surely be keen to know more about the series and Abdul Karim Telgi.

The expectations from Scam 2003 are quite high as Scam 1992 had impressed one and all. The Pratik Gandhi starrer is clearly one of the most loved series. While Pratik was a big name in the Gujarati film industry, with Scam 1992, he became a household name across the country.

Gagan Dev Riar, who plays the role of Abdul Karim Telgi, has earlier been a part of movies and OTT series like Sonchiriya and A Suitable Boy.
