MUMBAI: Ever since the trailer of the movie Squad was out the fans were eagerly waiting to see the new action star Rinzing Denzongpa making his acting debut along with actress Malvika Raaj. The trailer received some amazing responses and the fans were eagerly waiting for the movie which is directed by Nilesh Sahay and today finally the movie had premiered and here is the complete review of the movie.

The story of the movie deals with the subject of national security where a team is appointed for a particular mission which is controlled by Nandini played by Pooja Batra, what is the mission and how it is directly or indirectly connected to the country is shown in the movie.

The screenplay of the movie is very decent, also the direction on the other hand is strictly average but the location covered in the movie are a treat to watch.

Talking about the performances in the movie no doubt it is out and out Rinzing Denzongpa show but at many points his acting falls flat, it is his action sequences which are speaking louder than his acting in the movie, on the other hand actress Malvika Raaj and her efforts are shining she is looking beautiful in the movie. No doubt it was a treat to watch actress Pooja Batra after a long gap, she indeed was seen in a never seen before avatar and she was also good in her character. On the other hand actors Mohan Kapoor, Ashish Tyagi, Rohan Arora and others were decent on their part.

Talking about the positive points of the movie no doubt it has to be the action sequences but that too also in bits and pieces, no doubt when the trailer of the movie was out the fans were having high expectation in terms of action and at many points it did serve your expectation. On the other hand the fresh new pairing of Rinzing Denzongpa and Malvika Raaj was a treat to watch, special mention to the location covered throughout the movie no doubt it was a treat to watch.

The negative points of the movie has to be the acting of the leads which falls flat at many points, also as mentioned earlier the action sequences serves your expectation but at few points as at many sequences the action scenes are falling flat. Also at many points the use of poor VFX will surely disturb your viewing experience. The story also lacks freshness and the movie has a predictable story line.

Well having said all these points no doubt Squad starring Rinzing Denzongpa and Malvika Raaj in the leading role is a decent watch and can be seen once.

Temperature goes with 2.5/5 for Squad.
