The Last of Us, an HBO original drama series, premieres on Jihotstar on April 14th for its second season

MUMBAI: The second season of HBO's Emmy®-winning original drama series THE LAST OF US, which consists of seven episodes, will premiere on Monday, April 14 and be streamed on JioHotstar in India.

●Logline for season two: Five years after the events of season one, Joel and Ellie find themselves in confrontation with one another in a world that is even riskier and more uncertain than the one they left behind.

●Season 2 cast: Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, and Rutina Wesley as Maria are among the returning cast members for season two. Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac are among the previously revealed new cast members. Another guest star is Catherine O'Hara.

Credits for Season 2: Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann are the writers and executive producers of THE LAST OF US, which is based on the critically renowned video game franchise created by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation® systems. Along with writer/co-executive producer Halley Gross, the show is co-produced with Sony Pictures Television and executive produced by Carolyn Strauss, Jacqueline Lesko, Cecil O'Connor, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Evan Wells. Production companies: Naughty Dog, Mighty Mint, Word Games, and PlayStation Productions.
