MUMBAI: Renowned rapper and performer Raftaar, who enjoys a massive fan base across the nation, recently made waves with his stint on the popular reality show The Traitors.
Known for his sharp instincts and commanding presence, Raftaar’s gameplay initially impressed viewers and positioned him as a strong contender. However, in an unexpected twist, he was ousted from the game after being wrongly suspected as a Traitor by his fellow Innocents.
In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Raftaar got candid about his journey on the show and the emotional turmoil he experienced following the elimination of fellow contestant Karan Kundrra.

“Until Karan’s eviction, everything was on track,” Raftaar revealed. “Raj Kundra had already exited, and the Innocents were playing with precision and pride. But the edit didn’t show that I was the first to name Karan, and that weighed heavily on me. From that moment, I lost my rhythm. I spent two days in constant conflict – mentally and strategically.”
The rapper, who had previously shared screen space with Karan on another reality series, admitted that seeing him anxious and fearful of eviction was unsettling. “Karan and I have done a show before, where both of us had to project a very alpha persona. I’d never seen him so vulnerable. It affected me deeply, and I went overboard with my emotions and decisions.”
Despite his early exit, Raftaar’s performance has been widely appreciated by fans, many of whom have expressed their disappointment over his untimely elimination. His honesty, passion, and strategic prowess made him a standout personality on The Traitors, and his departure has certainly left a void in the show’s dynamic.
