MUMBAI: Tellychakkar is back with yet another piece of exciting information from the world of entertainment. 

We have always been at the forefront of reporting about various upcoming web shows and tv serials. 

Disney+ Hotstar is launching a bouquet of short-format web series, which will provide easy viewing entertainment for the viewers. The array of shows includes some of the most popular names from the entertainment industry.  

Starring Sandeepa Dhar and Vikram Singh Chauhan, Chattis Aur Maina is a love story of Chattis (Vikram ) and Maina (Sandeepa). The short web show will be a rom-com and will hit the ott space around the summer holidays!  

Now, we have exclusively learnt that veteran actor Deepak Qazir, Mrinalini Tyagi and Seema Pandey will also be a part of Chattis Aur Maina. 

All the three actors are a powerhouse of talent and it would be interesting to see how an amazing ensemble of star cast perform on screen.  

Deepak Qazir, Mrinalini Tyagi and Seema Pandey will be seen essaying pivotal characters in the show. 

Chattis Aur Maina is written by Aashutosh Chaturvedi and Pankaj Machvi.The casting director is Ankita Bajaj and Mitu, who has also worked as the showrunner/ creative producer of the series.  

We spoke to Mitu who is also the founder of Positive Thinkerz which is a production house having two verticals of Filmmaking and Event Management. Her production house has given shows like Zee5's Bhaage Re Mann and DD national's Sammaan Ek Adhika and innumerable others. She also freelances as a Creative professional for TV shows having worked with production houses like Balaji Telefilms, Swatik Productions, Sphere Origins to name a few. 

Mitu opened up on the show and said, '' I am super excited to be a part of Hotstar's short-format web series as it marks my foray into the OTT space. I have been the creative producer/ showrunner of Chattis Aur Maina and Ankahi Ansuni. It was a totally different concept of short films and that was the driving force for the project. Even the team from the platform was cooperative. Our main challenge was to choose actors which are well-known names in television as well as who are seasoned actors and that's how I teamed up with Ankita Bajaj to shortlist them. We are looking forward to a good response from the audience.'' 

Well, Chhatis Aur Maina will be a must watch with the fresh pairing it offers.
