MUMBAI: The year 2020 was the year of OTT projects, during the Pandemic and lockdown across the globe, we have seen that he only source of entertainment for the audiences was the digital platform and the content across the OTT platforms, and having said that we have seen several real talents on OTT platforms which were loved by the fans all over and, and some major names getting collaborated with web projects.

This year we have seen many big names from Bollywood coming up with their Digital projects, and have marked their brilliant debut on the OTT platform, from Karisma Kapoor to Arshad Warsi. We loved them in series and admired them and not only this we look forward to many more projects of them.

Let us today see some Bollywood actors who debuted on OTT this year: 

Arshad Warsi – Asur

One of the most loved thrillers of all time, Asur, starring Arshad Warsi, was one the best example of well-made thriller series, the show was based on Nikhil Nair played by Barun Sobit, a forensic-expert-turned-teacher, who returns to his roots at the Central Bureau of Investigation, and along with his former mentor Dhananjay Rajpoot played by Arshad Warsi, the actor was loved in this never seen before avatar and the show was one of the most viewed shows of 2020. 

Karisma Kaopoor - Mentalhood

Starring Karisma Kapoor and others in the cast, the series Mentahood which threw light on the subject of parenting and do’s and don'ts of Moms was loved by the fans all over, the actress made her come back with this show and received a warm welcome from her fans after a long gap.

Lara Dutta – Hundred

Hundred isn’t exactly Lara Dutta‘s web series debut. She did a fleeting role in Gurinder Chadha’s period drama Beecham House (2019). Hundred, though, is her first Indian web series and the first in which she plays the lead role. The show is about two women dealing with life in a male-dominated world. Dutta is impressive as a no-nonsense, tough-as-nails cop who strikes an unlikely friendship with an ordinary girl next door. 

Sushmita Sen – Aarya

Sush was seen after a long gap in a project, the actress made her strong come back with her digital project Aarya, a thriller series which was loved by the fans all over, the stress was loved for her looks, acting in the series and her strong role in the show. 

Abhishek Bachchan – Breathe: into the Shadows

Starring Abhishek Bachchan and Amit Sadh in lead Breathe: into the Shadows is the second season of the R.Madhavan starrer thriller, the show was loved by the fans all over, and Junior Bachchan who made his OTT debut with this series was immensely loved by the fans for his amazing performance in the show.
