MUMBAI : Makeup is all about creativity and having fun with shapes, colours, and unique product placement. This year, several Indian celebrities pushed the envelope with their bold and experimental beauty looks, and showed us how to have fun with makeup. Here are the most daring and adventurous looks of them all which we found the most exciting.

Duochrome eye makeup is quite the burgeoning trend in beauty circles, but very few celebrities rock such looks. Ananya went for a winged eyeshadow shape to play up her bluish-grey shadow, resulting in a more dramatic version of the shadow.

Nora’s music video ‘Dirty Little Secret’ was full of makeup moments which pushed the envelope, be it bright lips or creative eye looks. This glittery gold eye look with rhinestones under the eyes and a bold fuchsia lip was the most unique and stunning out of them all.

Alia keeps her makeup very natural, neutral, and soft in real life. But in Gangubai Kathiawadi, the actress rocked blue eyeshadow with black kohl, a big red bindi, and a huge red rose in her hair. Quite beautiful, isn’t it?

Swastika’s bold wine lip lacquer matched her character’s noir persona, full of mystery, glamour, and secrets. Hauntingly beautiful, this glossy dark lip was stark against the rest of her features in order to help it stand out more.

Alaya’s pink eyeshadow look with scattered glitter flecks was made even prettier with the rhinestones creating a wing on the outer corners. Her dewy skin and glossy lips complemented the beautiful eye makeup to perfection.
