MUMBAI: Ganpati celebrations are around the corner, and popular shows have already started churning out stories around the same.
Colors’ Silsila has some steamy romance in the pipeline for its viewers. Kunal (Shakti Arora) and Nandini (Drashti Dhami) are head over heels in love with each other, and the two have overlooked the fact that they are cheating on Mauli (Aditi Sharma).
The upcoming drama will see Ganesh celebrations, where Nandini, Kunal, and Mauli along with the family will come together to celebrate the religious festival and pray. For one of the sequences, Nandini has dressed up in a traditional red Maharashtrian drape with a dash of gold.
The effort invested in Drashti’s Maharashtrian detailed look is applaud worthy. She dons a set of green bangles finished with two gold bangles on each hand. She pairs her saree with plum purple elbow sleeves that match her pallu, and her golden neckpiece with jhumkas and nath complete her Maharashtrian look.
While Drashti looks flawless and on-point, Shakti ups his style game in a white kurta. He folds his sleeves up to his elbows and dons purple-checkered Chinese-collared floral jacket to look festive ready. We must say that Drashti and Shakti, as Nandini and Kunal, complement each other beautifully!
