#20YearsOfDDLJ: SRK-Kajol rekindle DDLJ magic

Women all over the country want a Raj in their lives, while every boy wants to woo his Simran just like Raj did. The eternal couple of Raj and Simran from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge (DDLJ, duh!) are back on our screens and you are going to fall in love with them. AGAIN.

The video, which is trending wildly on social media, has been made by director Rohit Shetty on the sets of his December release, Dilwale, to mark the grand 20th anniversary of his lead pair’s epic Yash Raj romance DDLJ.

The video opens with Kajol and Shah Rukh’s quirky banter, where the latter pretends to have forgotten the anniversary of his most famous blockbuster’s release. While an upset Kajol gives up on SRK, he sets the mood oh-so right with a dialogue from the movie, recreated to match two decades of awesomeness.

It’s such a rush to see the duo together because they can make us skip a beat, even now. Their easy chemistry, their natural friendship and the fun leg-pulling make the snap a truly memorable one.

In fact, it’s going to send many of us into a major nostalgic trip.

From reminiscing about the classic train scene to recreating the ‘flower’ sequence from the movie, the cute-hearts leave no stone unturned in shoving us back into the 90s. Stop going awwww already, you!

Even if you’re not a sucker for romance, we would still like to leave you with these lines from the video…

'Pyaar karti ho mujhse?’

‘Sabse zyaada.’

Mujhpar yakeen hai?’

‘Khudse zyaada.’

‘Bass phir toh sirf doli utthne ki der hai.’

*SIGH*
