Today this lovely couple completes 14 years of marriage and on this occasion let us take you back to the time when the Dhoom actor Abhishek Bachchan proposed to the actress Aishwarya Rai for the first time and how actually it got started, once Aishwarya and Abhishek made an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, one of the most reputed and famous celebrity talk shows there is. In conversation with host Oprah, Abhishek was asked how he proposed to the former Miss World – Aishwarya. On this the actor quoted “I was filming in New York for a movie and I used to stand on the balcony of my hotel room and wish that one day, it would be nice if I was together with her, married. So, I took her to the very same balcony and asked her to marry me,”
