A leading tabloid yesterday published a news item about a certain lead actor terrorising the cast and crew with his erratic behaviour while shooting in Bangkok for his upcoming romantic drama. Such were the unnamed actor's antics that he ended up earning the moniker of being the ultimate Bollywood brat. Tellychakkar donned its investigative hat and decided to dig deep and find out who the unnamed actor could be. The clues on hand were - a certain lead actor who recently delivered a blockbuster hit at the box office, an actor with connections in the industry and a romantic drama that had a Bangkok shooting schedule. Three actors names beeped on our guess-o-meter. First one being Varun Dhawan who has a filmy connection and the actor was also in Bangkok to shoot for Main Tera Hero. But then neither is Main Tera Hero a romantic drama nor did Varun deliver any recent blockbuster hits at the box-office. His last known hit was 'Student of the Year' two years back. The second name that popped up was that of Randeep Hooda who is in Bangkok shooting for Main Aur Charles. But then again, the movie is not a romantic drama and Randeep too hasn't delivered any box-office blockbuster recently. Highway was a moderate success. TellyChakkar team was stumped till we stumbled upon a tweet by Counting _Stars @Blue_Ocean9 who tweeted "Its Bhewda Abhishek Bachhan" eight hours after the Mumbai Mirror edition hit the stands. We confronted him and asked why he thinks it’s Abhishek Bachchan. And the response was:Idle Actor: Abhishek. Movie: Umesh Shukla's next. (They shot one schedule in Thailand) Blockbuster: Dhoom:3. Wonder if the user is one of the aggrieved crew members? TellyChakkar Team then put the spotlight on Abhishek Bachchan, who recently shot for All is Well billed as a romantic drama in Bangkok (though it has been all hush-hush). Industry insiders say that All Is Well is an important solo-lead film (after a long time) for Abhishek Bachchan, who plays a struggling singer and his co-stars include Asin Thottumkal (his 'Bol Bachchan' co-star who is lucky for him) and Rishi Kapoor (playing his onscreen father for the first time). The film is being directed by Umesh Shukla, who again tackles a thorny issue with a social message just like his previous venture OMG – Oh My God! and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and co-produced by Ajay Kapoor while Himesh Reshammiya has composed some heart melting music. The film is expected to be released in August 2014. Abhishek certainly fits the billing of a "certain lead actor with filmy connections" and "who recently delivered a blockbuster hit" in the form of 'Dhoom 3'. Abhishek has been tweeting about the magical meals he had had in Gaggan restaurant in Bangkok and also birthday wishes for Umesh Shukla in October 2013. But who can ever imagine a good boy like Abhishek being uncouth or misbehaving with assistant directors or emptying a glass of fake liquor on an AD's face just because he wasn't entirely convinced that the 'shade' of the drink was right. Can you visualise him throwing a bag on the floor and kicking it till it was soiled and unusable just because the colour of a bag he was supposed to be slinging didn't catch his fancy? These two scenarios are possible only if Abhishek were enacting scenes from the film or if he took his character of a "struggling singer" too far!! The article also talks about the Bollywood Bully being "idle" - Abhishek is hardly that with big ticket films such as Happy New Year and All is Well amongst others. And most importantly, Abhishek is no Bhewda! We find it difficult to believe that Abhishek is the alleged Bangkok bully or the ultimate Bollywood brat?
