Almost all the award functions demoted me and Farhan from main leads: Abhay Deol

MUMBAI: Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara starring Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif, and Kalki Koechlin was one of the best films in 2011. From the trio’s friendship to Hrithik and Katrina’s sizzling chemistry, ZNMD was loved and appreciated by everyone. As we speak of this film, Abhay told his fans that he wants to chant this title ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ to himself every day nowadays as he also thinks that it is a great watch when anxious or stressed. After the words he mentioned in the caption, this has got us thinking if it refers to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death who died by suicide after battling with depression.

Sharing a still from the film, he wrote, “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, released in 2011. Need to chant this title to myself every day nowadays! Also, a great watch when anxious or stressed.”

His caption further read, “I would like to mention that almost all the award functions demoted me and Farhan from main leads, and nominated us as “supporting actors." Hrithik and Katrina were nominated as “actors in a leading role." So by the industry’s own logic, this was a film about a man and a woman falling in love, with the man supported by his friends for whatever decisions he takes.

Have a look.
