MUMBAI: Ameesha Patel, who is known for films such as Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Humraaz, recently found herself in the centre of a fake news item.

There were reports stating that Ameesha Patel has met with a major accident on the Mumbai Pune highway.  However, the news is false and Ameesha is perfectly fine. She told SpotboyE.com, “I am perfectly fine.”

A disappointed Ameesha further told the portal, “I am deeply shocked and extremely amused at the same time. Who makes up such news? Where has journalism reached? I am in the best of health, so there is no chance of being critical.”
