MUMBAI: Ananya Panday is a well known actress in the Bollywood industry. It’s been almost three years since the actress has been part of the industry and hasn’t been able to gain a lot of success to her kitty.

She began her acting career in 2019 with roles in the teen film Student of the Year 2 and the comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh for which she won the Filmfare Best debutant award. 

Since then, the actress hasn’t been able to give huge success at the Box office and is struggling for a successful movie. Although she is getting offers from the big banners movies, she is not able to impress the audience with her performance. 

Her latest movie “Liger” bombed completely at the box office and it was a complete washout movie. The producers and distributors had to face a huge loss when it came to the collections of the movie. 

Post the failure of Liger, Ananya Panday decided to cut off her fee by fifty percent as she thought that after the failure, she couldn’t ask for a huge fee amount. 

Netizens feel that the star kid should be doing some sensible and meaningful roles that will justify the character and her acting skills rather than just being a glam doll in a movie.

The audience has come out and spoke about what kind of roles the actress could do : 

*Neeta Shukla:* I feel that these star kids do not know how to act and are useless at times. They are just getting movies because of their surname and it’s high time they do some meaningful roles and justify their work. It is unfair to so many other actors. 

*Kabir Khan:* It breaks my heart to see that some talented actors do not get work and Ananya Panday gets so many movies, even after so many flops. There are so many struggling young actors who aren’t getting work because of these star kids, and I feel that Ananya should do meaningful roles, something that makes sense and not like what she did in Liger. 

*Sheena Saren:* According to me, Ananya Panday is not a bad actor. It's just that she needs to choose the right roles and script and if she gets the right director, she will be able to prove her worth. The problem is that star kids aren’t getting the right choice of movies to do. They are just glamours dolls in movies. It's high time they wait and choose the right roles. 

*Rishi Malhotra:*  There is no use in speaking about star kids as they would always be privileged. Big banners movies will come to them no matter what, especially Dharma Productions, who keeps signing her for no reason.  It's high time she chooses some good and meaningful roles, at least for the fan base that she has created. 

*Roma D’costa:* Ananya Panday as an actress hasn’t proved herself at all and maximum of her movies have been bombed at the box office. In spite of that, she gets movies from big banner productions which is so unfair. It's high time she does strong characters that when the audience watch her, they don’t cringe at spending money for the film. 

Seems like the audience is upset with the actress's post about the failure of “Liger” and they request her to do some meaningful roles.
