MUMBAI: Unlike every other year, Bollywood’s star-couple of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan decide to not host a grand birthday bash for daughter Aaradhya Bachchan's upcoming 9th birthday this year. 

As their little one turns 9 on 16th November this year,  the couple has decided to celebrate her special day as a low-key and muted affair, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 

Sources reveal, “All Bollywood celebrations have been low-key. Aaradhya’s birthday will also be muted. It will not be possible to host a grand event under the current circumstances.”.

Till date, we have seen how the proud parents used to host lavish birthday bashes for Aradhya by following glam-themes like Disneyland, etc. Her parties were also attended by other Bollywood star kids, which won't happen time. 

However, this won’t restrict the family from making it a special one for their daughter.

Reports further claim, “While the parents would usually spend four days planning her birthday to host Disney-themed parties, celebrations will be restricted to cutting the cake. However, given that the day is special for the family, the parents will aim to make it as special as is possible.”.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had tied the knot in 2007 and welcomed Aaradhya in the year 2011.

As per our reports, Abhishek had also confirmed of not hosting a Diwali party, owing to the demise of sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda's mother-in-law.
