MUMBAI: Boney Kapoor has been an ace producer in the Hindi Film industry. Apart from his entertaining films, he is also a doting father to four kids; Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Boney was earlier married to Mona Shourie Kapoor and later to actress Sridevi. Boney has now opened up about his equation with Salman Khan after the actor’s strained relations with his son Arjun Kapoor.

Boney revealed that Arjun became an actor on Salman’s insistence. The latter had faith in him that he would be an actor and took it upon himself to see to it that he would get into acting. Boney also added that Salman helped Arjun lose weight and said, “Whatever said and done, today their equation might not be that good but he gave him his best (with regard to) Arjun. His growth was influenced by Salman.”

Boney revealed that Arjun and Salman’s strained relationship did not affect his equation with Salman and he always praises him for his warm heart and affection.

As per reports, Arjun once dated Salman’s sister Arpita Khan. After his brother Arbaaz and Malaika Arora’s divorce, Arjun and Malaika started dating and made their relationship official. Arjun and Salman’s equation has been strained because of their past history.

On the work front, Boney is gearing up for his upcoming production Maidaan starring Ajay Devgn and Priyamani. The film is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and will hit cinemas on 10th April 2024. Arjun meanwhile has Singham Again and No Entry 2 in the pipeline.
