'Driven' to close Venice Film Festival

The film, starring Lee Pace, Jason Sudeikis, Judy Greer and Corey Stoll, will get its world premiere out of competition at the festival on 8 September, reports suggest so.

Venice is an inspiring festival with an incredible audience," said Hamm.

"I am both honoured and delighted to be invited back to share this crazy, untold story."

Inspired by true events, Driven is a wickedly comedic look at a bromance gone bad.

Set in the opulence of early 1980s California, the story follows the meteoric rise of DeLorean, and his iconic DeLorean Motor Company, through his friendship with charming ex-con turned FBI informant, Jim Hoffman.

Directed by Hamm, from an original screenplay by Colin Bateman and financed by Romulus Entertainment, Driven is produced by Piers Tempest of Tempo Productions, Luillo Ruiz of The Pimienta Film Company and Brad Feinstein of Romulus Entertainment.

The festival runs from 29 August to 8 September.

Talks are on for 13th season of 'The Big Bang Theory'

Popular sitcom The Big Bang Theory, whose 12th season is set to premiere in September, might get renewed for the 13th season as well.

During an appearance at the TCA summer press tour on Sunday, CBS Entertainment head Kelly Kahl said that the company and Warner Bros Television, which produces the show, are already discussing renewing the show beyond its upcoming 12th season, as per media reports.

Kahl said, "We don't believe it's the final year. We are in preliminary discussions to renew the show with Warner Bros."

However, Warner Bros. declined to comment on anything.

Series star Johnny Galecki had said in January that he and the cast would be comfortable ending the show with Season 12.

Created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, The Big Bang Show that is heading into its 12th season, stars actors Jim Parsons, Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg.

The actress had revealed in April 2017 that she had been diagnosed with bone cancer. This came seven years after a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

Rae had started acting at a very young age, performing with the Children's Theatre of Wauwatosa and acting on the radio. As a teenager, she won a summer apprenticeship with the Port Players, a professional summer theatre company. She also was a regular on stage at Shorewood High School.

She was well known for her comic roles, had also won an Emmy nomination for her performance in the 1975 TV drama Queen of the Stardust Ballroom and starred in Different Strokes.

Need time to focus on my sobriety: Demi Lovato

After reaching a stable condition following a drug overdose last month, singer Demi Lovato said she needs "time to heal and focus on my sobriety and the road to recovery".

Lovato wrote in an Instgram post that she has learned her addiction "is not something that disappears or fades with time".

"It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet," she wrote, as per media reports.

She thanked the staff at Cedars-Sinai, a medical centre, "Without them I would not be here writing this letter to all of you."

She also thanked her fans for their support and wrote that she looks forward to "the day where I can say I came out on the other side".

Lovato has struggled with substance abuse for years and the overdose comes from a relapse after six years of sobriety, which she revealed in June in her single "Sober".

Since the news broke of her overdose, Lovato has received an outpouring of support from her fans, colleagues, and other Hollywood stars alike.

The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer has received treatment for bipolar disorder, bulimia and substance abuse in the past and documented many of her struggles in her 2017 YouTube original documentary Simply Complicated.

Peter Andre wants to help Katie Price

Singer Peter Andre wants to help his former wife Katie Price, who is struggling with fresh personal turmoil.

"Pete has been very supportive to Kate and he wants her to be the best that she can be. They go through their ups and downs but he is trying to help her," said a source, reports suggest so.

Bailiffs turned up at Price's home earlier this week to get 3,000 pounds allegedly owed to an electrician for work he did last year and her mansion in West Sussex appears to be run down.

Also, there are rumours that the former glamour model, who is divorcing her third husband Kieran Hayler, could face bankruptcy.

Price and Andre got divorced in 2009, and have two children together. The children now live with Andre, who is married to Emily MacDonagh.

Bryan Laverdure, Azubuike's business manager, said, "Leyon isn't seeing anyone. He trains her (Jen) at her house."

In an interview last week, Aniston said, "Boxing is a great way to get aggression out. You have little fantasy moments imagining who you're actually punching."

Orlando Bloom is 'Lord of the Spiders'

The Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom caught a giant spider in his bathroom.

Sharing a video of him standing in the nude with the spider safely in the glass, Bloom said, "Will he bite at me? Well, clearly not because he's in a glass, but I thought I would ask you, you insect lover you."

"Miss you pal. I'm going to free him now," the 41-year-old actor added, reports suggest so.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor has a habit of showing off his body.

Jeff Goldblum wants a daughter

Actor Jeff Goldblum says he would "love" to have a daughter but he does not think his wife Emilie wants more children.

"I would love a little girl. The other week Emilie said, 'Gee, I'd like to see you with a girl'. But I do not think she really wants it. I think she's happy to stop with these two," Goldblum told Sunday Times magazine.

When he and the former Olympic rhythmic gymnast first started to discuss having children, the Hotel Artemis actor said he had to think about his own advancing years and it's still a subject that is often on his mind, reports suggest so.

"I had to think about that and I'm still thinking about what it all means and trying to navigate the calendar and my gift of living every day. But when she said maybe it would be nice to have a baby, it was so sweet and deeply genuine," he said.

Kelsey Grammer's anti-cheating tattoo

X-Men: The Last Stand actor Kelsey Grammer has revealed the reason for getting the tattoo after his fourth wife Kayte Walsh's name.

During an appearance on Conan show earlier this week, Grammer admitted that it is his wife's idea to get inked, reports suggest so.

The 63-year-old actor, who also admitted to cheating on his third wife Camille with Walsh, explained, "My wife said, 'Why don't you get a tattoo?' I guess it was sort of based on the idea that if ever I thought maybe a peccadillo outside the marriage was a good idea, that whoever might be … you know... would read that this particular piece of equipment was already signed."

The tattoo, set in blue ink with letters about half an inch tall, cost the actor $60.

Britney Spears treats sons to fish, chips

Singer Britney Spears treated her sons Sean and Jayden to fish and chips before her headline performance at Brighton Pride festival.

The boys also got to see Buckingham Palace and spend time on the beach at the seaside resort in South England, before she performed at the annual lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender extravaganza.

"The boys wanted fish and chips for dinner because Britney has always told them that's what she has when she's there. They stopped at a pebbly beach in Brighton as the boys have heard about them and want to see for themselves," a source told a leading media portal.

The 36-year-old singer said she is "proud" of her sons. The "Slumber party" hitmaker can't believe how quickly her brood is growing up, and how "gifted" they have become.

In an interview to Closer Magazine, the former member of Westlife said, "I don't speak to Vogue any more either. It's pointless. She's married now and is having a baby."

At the same time, he wished the best for the couple and added, "I am delighted for her and I hope she has a lovely family. Spencer is a great guy."

McFadden also said that the thing he misses the most about their three-year marriage is their dog.

"Not getting to see the dog is the worst part of it. Winston was my best mate and we wouldn't leave each other's sides," he said.

Bruno Mars makes history in Hawaii

Grammy-winning singer Bruno Mars has broken a record in his native Honolulu with three back-to-back sellouts at Aloha Stadium.

As part of his '24k Magic World Tour', the tickets to the shows quickly flew off the shelves, prompting Mars to add a third date at Aloha Stadium.

Tickets moved swiftly as Mars offered priority sales to zip code-restricted Hawaii residents for the first 48 hours.

The newly added show will take place on 8 November, while the two previously booked concerts will be held on November 10 and 11.

The '24K Magic World Tour' is in support of Mars' 2016 album "24K Magic".
