On the work front, Diljit will be next seen in Jodi, which is an upcoming romantic-comedy period film written and directed by Amberdeep Singh. The film stars Nimrat Khaira alongside Diljit. The film will mark Diljit Dosanjh's debut as a producer.

The Punjabi superstar started working on Jodi film's music in August 2019 while the film's shoot started in October 2019. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film's release date has been postponed. Earlier, it was supposed to release on June 26, 2020.

On the music front, Diljit last released his album G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time). The album's tracks received a lot of love from his fans and it topped charts for weeks. Songs like Whiskey, Born to Shine and Taare went viral on social media and several influencers made videos on the tracks.
