MUMBAI :Drishyam 2 has turned out to be one of the biggest hits of 2022. While films and especially remakes were not doing well at the ticket windows, the Ajay Devgn starrer has surprised one and all with its first-weekend collection. The movie in just three days collected Rs. 64.14 crores and everyone is expecting that it is heading for Rs. 100 crores first week. 

Well, we decided to write down five reasons why Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Akshaye Khanna starrer has done wonders at the box office…

Solid writing 

One of the most important elements of a movie is the writing. Drishyam 2 has been written very well and keeps you glued to the screens throughout. The edge-of-the-seat thriller factor is just perfect in it.

The hype created by the prequel

The first installment of Drishyam was a hit at the box office. It was also a remake, but Hindi moviegoers had not seen the original movie, and they were excited and looking forward to the sequel.

Drishyam 2 has some amazing performances by Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and others. Also, fans were excited to watch Ajay and Tabu on the big screen together again.

Akshaye Khanna has impressed everyone a lot in Drishyam 2. People are loving his performance in it as the investigative cop and they are comparing it with his act in movies like Ittefaq, 36 China Town, and others.

Hindi version of Malayalam film not available

Most of the remakes that were released this year, their Hindi versions were also available on YouTube or an OTT platform. But, the Malayalam version of Drishyam 2 is not available anywhere in Hindi, and that helped the Hindi Drishyam 2 at the box office.
