Film on Haiti quake victims to be screened at IFFI, Goa

Belgian filmmaker Jonas D'Adesky
Belgian filmmaker Jonas D'Adesky’s debut film 3 Kids, based on victims of the earthquake in Haiti in 2010, is to be screened at the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. Talking about the plot of the film, he said, "I made the film about these kids who were 12-years-old at the time of the disaster. They had a normal home and went to school, and one day a terrible earthquake occurred and they had to leave their home to go on to the city streets." D'Adesky was very happy shooting with the children and quipped, “They didn’t let me down during the filming and the experience was really fruitful.” He also revealed that the Haitian-Belgian film has earlier made it to three other prestigious film festivals. "Apart from IFFI, it was also selected for the Toronto International Film Festival, Miami Film Festival and Berlin Film Festival," D'Adesky informed.
