Hrithik Roshan talks about Bang Bang Dare, Salman Khan and more...

Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan and his team came up with the most innovative marketing strategy ever see in Bollywood to promote Bang Bang- Dare your industry friend to do something and post the video for the world to see. The strategy caught the imagination of Bollywood and actors lapped Hrithik's dare with glee and set out to indulge in never-seen-before antics. From SRK pumping iron to Ranveer Singh's crazy Krrish avatar, Hrithik's Bang Bang dare presented Bollywood celebs in an altogether new light. What's remarkable is the seriousness with which everyone accepted and completed the challenges thrown at them by Hrithik. All but one man, Salman Khan. Hrithik had dared the macho Khan to paint but till date Salman has shown no inclination of accepting the Bang Bang dare. When we asked Hrithik on the reason behind this delay, the hunky star said, "Salman is Salman Khan. Salman Khan always makes an entry. He will make an entry when you least suspect it. So wait for it." Hrithik's however pleased and humbled that his dare was accepted graciously by Bollywood. "As a part of the fraternity, we are much bigger as human beings than the success of our films. Healthy competition should exist where I do my best and then help you achieve your best. This contribution to each other is what I wanted to create with this Bang Bang dare." Elaborating on how the entire thing was not a publicity gimmick designed to promote his film, Hrithik said, "If I had just went and asked people to do something for my film, they wouldn't have done that. So I created this platform (Bang Bang Dare) where they could do something for their fans. And the contribution was both ways in that regard. All those who performed the dare like Ranveer, Shraddha Kapoor, Nargis Fakhri, Farhan AKhtar enjoyed it. I believe this thing will go down as an example where people in the industry came together and supported me wholeheartedly only because my intention was right. My intention was to give them something that they would enjoy doing. So it worked well. And if you think of this as a strategy to promote my movie, it will kill the entire intention and purpose behind starting this platform. When we see something good, we try to find negatives in it. I believe when you see a good thing, you should appreciate it and that will go a long way in changing the world." While Bang Bang dare pleased all those who performed it, the ones who were unfortunately left out have started registering their complaints with Hrithik. "I have a long list of people in my phone who have messaged me saying that they are feeling bad since I didn't dare them to do anything. I will do something for all of them soon,” said Hrithik. For the moment, we are waiting for Salman Khan to accept and complete Hrithik's dare with his painting brush. Let's see when that will happen.
