The release of his film ‘Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai’ might be postponed to next Eid, Says Salman Khan, Read On

MUMBAI: 'Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai' was scheduled to release on the big screen on Eid last year but was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the nation.

After much discussion and delay, Salman Khan had confirmed that Radhe will release in theatres on May 13, on the occasion of Eid. However, the second wave of Coronavirus has played a spoilsport and the film may again be postponed.

At a recent event, Khan spoke addressed the media and said that the release of ‘Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai' will be postponed to next year if the lockdown in the state continues.

Currently, Maharashtra is under partial lockdown along with a weekend lockdown to curb the spread of the virus. Speaking at the event, Salman said:

"We were going to release Radhe, we still are trying our best to release it on Eid. But if the lockdown continues, we might have to push it to next Eid. But if it opens up, and the cases drop and people do take care of themselves. If they wear their masks and keep their social distance, and take good care of themselves.”

"If it happens, we will have Radhe in theaters in Eid. But, if the citizens do not follow these, it will not only be a problem for theatre-owners but also the daily wage workers. It is just going to be a really bad one, like it was earlier. Everyone should be really serious and ensure we kill this coronavirus and move on in our lives before it kills us all."

Salman attended the book launch of veteran actor Kabir Bedi's memoir. Kabir will be sharing the story of his life "with raw emotional honesty" in his memoir titled Stories I Must Tell: The Emotional Journey of an Actor.
