MUMBAI: Sanjay Dutt and family recently received a major shock as the actor got diagnosed with stage three lung cancer. Ever since then, all the Sanjay Dutt fans, friends and family members are praying for his speedy recovery. In a statement released by his wife Maanayata Dutt, she revealed that Sanjay Dutt will be seeking treatment in Mumbai and later, he may travel abroad for the same. Now, Irrfan Khan's son Babil has come out to talk about Sanju Baba and how he offered help when his father was diagnosed with cancer.

In a post on Instagram, while urging everyone to give Sanjay Dutt's family the 'existential space they need', Babil Khan revealed a secret. He stated that Sanjay Dutt was among the first ones to offer help when Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer. He also mentioned that after Irrfan Khan passed away, Sanjay Dutt was among the first few to contact the family and extend support. In the end, he hoped that Sanjay Dutt will come out the health scare and will be smashing hits again. Along with the note, Babil attached a black and white picture of Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan. 

Babil's post reads, "Writers must wonder ‘how do I start’, but I am not a writer so here it is; I humbly request journalists and human curiosity to ease on the speculation, the details. I know that’s your job but I also know that a sense of humanity persists in our soul, so give Sanju bhai and his family the existential space they need. Here’s a secret; Sanju Bhai was one of the first people to offer help in all and every way when my father was diagnosed, after Baba passed, Sanju bhai was again one of the very first few people that held a pillar for support. Please; I beg you, let him fight this without anxiety of media, you must remember we’re talking bout Sanju baba here, he is a tiger, a fighter, the past doesn’t define you but it sure does evolve you and I know this will be over with Sanju Baba smashing hits again."
