MUMBAI: Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif ,was the most awaited film of 2020 and was in center of the buzz from it's inception. After the trailer broke the internet, fans couldn't curb their anticipation. Unfortunately, Corona virus outbreak caused the nation to go under a lockdown stalling the film. Amidst all this rose some tight conjectures that Karan Johar had been dropped out as the producer of the Rohit Shetty film and the rumors flared on social media.
With the shocking news of the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput,netizens didn't even take a second to pour out the nepotism debate and soon targeted some big Bollywood hotshots. Apart from this the major chaos was to ban KJo. In the light of all these happenings, there were rumors in the room that KJo was no more a producer for Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi due to the backlash he faced after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput.

However, it was all clarified and now we know that Karan Johar is very much a part of the film everything is in its place as before. Taran Adarsh took to his twitter handle and tweeted that those rumors were false and claimed that another production house, Reliance Entertainment has clarified it, "IMPORTANT... News doing the rounds of #KaranJohar not being part of #Sooryavanshi is untrue, clarifies #RelianceEntertainment."

Meanwhile, Sooryavanshi was originally dated for a worldwide release on March 24, but dot postponed due to the pandemis lockdown and the new release date for the film to hit the screens is Diwali 2020, while Ranveer Singh and Deepika Paduokne's '83 is scheduled for a Christmas release.
