MUMBAI: Actor Akshay Kumar is currently busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ in the city with Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arshad Warsi. On Thursday evening, he took to social media and shared a picture of himself while getting clicked by the paparazzi during the promotions. He wrote an appreciation note for the media and the paparazzi for always being there.

Sharing the picture on Instagram, Akshay wrote, “This is an appreciation post for our media persons and all the hours they put in.. come rain, come shine, you guys are always there #BachchhanPaandey promotions.” Have a look:

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the team of the film hosted a media event in Mumbai. The actors were seen entertaining the media and also answering fun questions. During the interaction, Akshay was asked how he shoots so many films in a year, to which he replied, “ I choose to go to work in the morning and take a break on Sundays. If you continue to work everyday, then easily you have many films in the pipeline.

Everyone was working in the pandemic, including the policemen, media photographers and others. Everyone has to earn money. Today I have everything in life, I lead a good life. I can easily sit at home and not earn but what about others who want to work (and earn money)? I am working today not because of money but for passion. The day I feel disinterested is when I will stop working.”

The film is slated to release on March 17 in theatres.
