Mr. & Mrs. Mahi: Director Sharan Sharma shares pictures of Janhvi Kapoor revealing her terrible cricket skills, take a look

Mr. & Mrs. Mahi director, Sharan Sharma recently shared a post on his instagram handle showcasing the transformation of the lead actress Janhvi Kapoor related to cricket.

MUMBAI: Dhadak actress Janhvi Kapoor is all set for the release of her upcoming movie Mr. & Mrs. Mahi along with Rajkummar Rao. The trailer was just released, and it has gotten all the fans excited for the film.

The trailer showcased an actress playing a cricket in it. It has been really difficult for the non cricket player to be the perfect cricket player on the silver screen in the way that fans are forced to accept them in that role. Well, the film’s director, Sharan Sharma, dropped 2 pictures of the actress showcasing her transformation from a non-cricket player to a cricketer.

On his social media handle, Sharan Sharma shared 2 pictures of the lead actress Janhvi Kapoor. The first one was clicked in the year of 2021 that is on the stage of pre production and the second one was clicked in 2024, when the film was finally about to be released. These pictures showcased how the actress has come a long way.  

In the caption, the director mentioned that when Janhvi picked up the bat for the very first time in 2021 he saw that her stance was ‘terrible’ and she knew nothing about the sport, he was scared. He wondered how they were going to make this happen. The director concluded by saying, ‘Super proud of JK’s cricketing skills we have managed to achieve in the film!’

The actress further reacted to the post in the comment section and noted, ‘2 yrs 9 kilos 2 dislocations and many fights later. Wouldn’t have done it any other way. Still the most special journey.’

The film was directed by Sharan Shrama and written by Nikhil Mehrotra and Sharan Sharma. Meanwhile,Mr &Mrs. Mahi starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao is all set to hit the big screens on May 31, 2024.
