MUMBAI: One of the most loved Bollywood movies of Ajay Devgn was Singham, which spoke about the end of corruption and was loved by the fans for its amazing storytelling, solid screenplay and great performances. The movie also had actress Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady. The actress showed her potential in this movie and won the hearts of the fans with her acting and her looks, looking at her role it was clear that this character was written for her only.

But do you know that actress Kajal Aggarwal was not the first choice for the movie, yes you heard right, the movie was first offered to south actress Anushka Shetty. But things didn't work out and the role went to Kaajal Aggarwal instead. According to reports, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn were so upset with Anushka that all their friends (read half of the Mumbai film industry) grew wary of her.

Well, no doubt actress Anushka Shetty is the one of the finest actresses, her movies which are available in Hindi dubbed language get lots of love from the fans, and they look forward to see more work of the actress.

While the heroine in the Bollywood franchise of Singham keeps changing, Anushka says she enjoys being a steadfast part of the Singham series in Tamil.

Released in the year 2011, Singham was directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Reliance Entertainment.
