MUMBAI: Jee Le Zaraa: Did You Know Alia Bhatt had once Suggested Dil Chahta Hai Sequel In 2015 With Parineeti Chopra And Shraddha Kapoor? Everyone is puzzled about the same. Back then in the year 2015 when Alia Bhatt expressed her wish to star in the sequel of Dil Chahta Hai. Alia is set to star in a female road trip movie, Jee Le Zaraa co-starring Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. It has made the crowd feel super excited.

Fans of Farhan Akhtar have a reason to rejoice as he will be back in the director’s seat for Jee Le Zaraa. This will be under his production house, Excel Entertainment. He made an announcement of a film revolving around a road trip. It will be flashing in the news that Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt are a part of it. All the female leads were elated to share this news but little did we know it was Alia who initially got this idea way back in 2015. She had expressed her wish to star in the sequel of Dil Chahta Hai.

Alia the talented actress while promoting Shaandaar, wished someday she stars in a sequel of Dil Chahta Hai. Joining her would be Parineeti Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor. She had mantioned, “Pari (Parineeti), Shraddha and I should work in the sequel to Dil Chahta Hai (2001) as three friends. I think that’s a superb idea. It will be so much fun. Should I call Farhan regarding the film, and make it happen.” Farhan spoke about Alia’s idea in another interview with the publication, he had laughed off. But only to consider it.

He was quoted saying, “Through you guys, I got to know that Alia wants to do a DCH part 2 with Shraddha and Parineeti. That (thought) stayed in my head, and I am thinking about it very strongly, but this time with three girls (as the protagonists). We will see how it goes.”

Farhan and Alia, as they met during the screening of Kapoor & Sons, discussed it, the former left Alia surprised as he shared her opinion. “I met her at the Kapoor & Sons screening. After the screening, I told her, ‘Alia, I guess you told someone that there should be a Dil Chahta Hai part two with three girls, and I wanted to tell you that I may be considering it.’ And she was like, ‘Oh, really?’ And I said, ‘Yes, and you will love it when you watch it (laughs).’ She was like, ‘How sick! How mean!,’” he quoted.
