Chris Pine hopes people get over his full-frontal scene

Actor Chris Pine hopes people get over his full-frontal scene in Outlaw King, and stop behaving like teenagers.

Pine plays King of the Scots, Robert the Bruce, in the Netflix film Outlaw King.

Pine spoke about his character's full frontal scene getting a lot of attention while the nudity of Florence Pugh, who plays Robert's wife Elizabeth, has gone largely unremarked upon, reported by media publications.

"People are giggling about my penis as if we're schoolchildren," Pine told the Daily Mirror.

"Florence shows her entire body in this film and no one is talking about that. People want to talk about my penis as if we're a bunch of teenagers playing spin the bottle. Is Florence expected to do that because she is a woman and I'm not expected to do that because I'm a man?

"Certainly, there's a lot of violence in this film... and no one wants to talk about that," he added.

Pointing out that this is the fifth film where he has had full-frontal male nudity, Pine said, "No one's ever had such a fuss about it. And it's far less than I've ever had before, and it's totally motivated.

"The guy is washing in a loch in the Highlands and just pops out - I don't know what the fuss is about. It says something about our times and I wish people would get over it."

"Our artists know this movie line for line, and many of their depictions come from small scenes that only fans who've watched the movie dozens of times would recognize.

"Our show covers the big moment's everyone knows, but it will truly be an experience that speaks to those die-hard Jurassic Park fans out there," Acosta added.

The event will be held on 16-18 November.

Charlie Sheen's parents found after going missing in wildfire

Veteran actor Martin Sheen and his wife Janet were found safe and "fine" after their actor son Charlie Sheen took to social media saying he could not get a hold of his parents who may have been caught in the California wildfire.

Charlie had on Friday tweeted, "I cannot get a hold of my parents, Martin and Janet Sheen... If anyone has eyes on them, please let me know that they are safe and sound in the middle of this horrific scenario."

The message was widely shared, according to media reports.

Later, a news reporter caught up with Martin at Zuma Beach, where he had evacuated Friday morning and stayed all day. The journalist informed him of Charlie's tweet that his parents were missing.

Martin took the opportunity to send a message to his son and other children, "Emilio, Ramon, Renee, Charlie, we're fine, we're at Zuma Beach and we're probably going to sleep in the car tonight. We're just fine. We hope you are, too, and thank this good man, fellow Screen Actors' Guild member for giving this opportunity to make contact with you guys."

Janet did not make an appearance on-camera, but the journalist mentioned she was present, media reports suggested so.

As per Martin, "this is the worst (fire)" he has seen" in the 48 years he has lived in Malibu, which was evacuated early Friday due to the fire.

"I've never seen one with this intensity, for this long, that took out so much property and caused such havoc," he said of the situation, which has forced thousands of people, including Hollywood celebrities like Rainn Wilson, Kim Kardashian West, and Lady Gaga, to evacuate their homes.

During the interview with Fox 11, Martin said he just took things to eat from his house but didn't save anything else. He said the one thing he always thought he would pack would be his passports, but he forgot them "so we won't be traveling, at least overseas, for a while".

"We're just going to have to reconnect and rebuild and rethink what we're doing with our lives."

Mahershala Ali hurt by Mortensen's use of N-word

Actor Mahershala Ali has accepted an apology from Green Book actor Viggo Mortensen for using the N-word on at a screening of their film, but he didn't find the usage of the word "appropriate" at all.

Mortensen used the word on Wednesday night at the ArcLight Cinemas Hollywood during a conversation moderated by Film Independent programmer Elvis Mitchell. Mortensen was speaking about the cyclical and generational use of hate speech, according to several audience members in attendance, and used the N-word specifically as an example of speech that's no longer common in conversation, reported by media publications.

In his subsequent apology, Mortensen said, "Although my intention was to speak strongly against racism, I have no right to even imagine the hurt that is caused by hearing that word in any context, especially from a white man. I do not use the word in private or in public. I am very sorry that I did use the full word last night, and will not utter it again."

Ali responded on Friday by saying, "However well-intended or intellectual the conversation may have been, it wasn't appropriate for Viggo to say the n-word. He has made it clear to me that he's aware of this, and apologized profusely immediately following the Q&A with Elvis Mitchell.

"Knowing his intention was to express that removing the n-word from your vocabulary doesn't necessarily disqualify a person as a racist or participating in actions or thoughts that are bigoted, I can accept and embrace his apology."

The Oscar winner of Moonlight fame added, "An excellent and poignant thought was unfortunately overshadowed by voicing the word in its fullness. Which for me, is always hurtful. The use of the word within the black community has long been debated, and its usage should continue to be examined within the black community.

"The use of the word by those who aren't black is not up for debate. The history of discrimination, slavery, pain, oppression, and violence that the word has come to symbolize only causes harm to members of the black community and therefore needs to be left in the past."

Green Book centers on a tour of the Deep South in the 1960s by Jamaican-American pianist Don Shirley (portrayed by Ali) and a bouncer serving as security (played by Mortensen).

Chip, Joanna Gaines returning to TV

Chip and Joanna Gaines, stars of home improvement show Fixer Upper, are expanding their empire and making a return to television.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday, the two of them announced they are getting their own TV network.

"We signed a non-disclosure and it said quote unquote you can tell your mother, but that's it," Chip quipped after Fallon asked if the couple would ever return to TV, reported by media publications.

"So mom, I just wanted to make a quick announcement, we are coming back to television. You are going to get to see the kids grow up, you are going to see us, well maybe a six-month delay like the rest of the world, but we are excited to be back."

Magnolia spokesman John Marsicano confirmed the news in an exclusive statement to media.

"We are excited to share that we are currently in the early stages of talking with Discovery about a lifestyle-focused media network for Magnolia. The details surrounding this opportunity remain a work in progress, but together, our hope is to build a different kind of platform for unique, inspiring and family-friendly content," said Marsicano.

In partnership with Discovery Inc., which also owns HGTV, the new network will be the latest addition to Chip and Joanna's massive list of successful businesses including their lifestyle magazine The Magnolia Journal -- published by Meredith, People's parent company -- the new Magnolia Table restaurant and their product line at Target, as well as the ever-expanding Magnolia Market at the Silos, which has turned Waco, Texas, into a tourist destination.

They have dozens of other projects, ranging from vacation rentals to memoirs, cookbooks and Joanna's latest design book.
