MUMBAI: Samantha Ruth Prabhu is managing several projects at once. One of her most promising upcoming releases is Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. This romantic comedy has a star-studded cast with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. After winding up the shoot, Samantha has now finished the dubbing of the film as well. 

Samantha is one of the most loved actresses in Indian cinema. She got her biggest breakthrough from the web series, Family Man 2, where she had played the antagonist ‘Raji’ opposite, Manoj Bajpayee. She enjoys a massive fan following of 23 million on Instagram.

On the personal front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had tied the marital knot with Naga Chaitanya in an intimate wedding in 2017. However, things did not go well between the two, and they had parted ways with mutual consent in 2021. 

A few hours ago, Samantha Ruth Prabhu surprised her fans by dropping a happy picture with her big brother, Joseph Prabhu  on her IG story. After all, it’s not every day that we get to see photos of the Makhi actress’ family. The picture showed Samantha posing with a big smile for a selfie with her loving brother, Joseph. Samantha’s happiness is clearly visible in her sparkling eyes and glowing face. The priceless picture spoke volumes about the sibling bond that they share. She wrote, “Missed you big brother.”

For the unversed, the Yashoda star has two brothers, David Prabhu and Jonathan Prabhu, and they like to stay away from the limelight. 

About her other releases, Samantha is currently busy shooting for her upcoming pan-Indian film Yashoda helmed by director duo Hari and Harish. She also has Gunasekhar’s mythological drama, Shaakuntalam in her kitty alongside Dev Mohan. Samantha has Citadel with Varun Dhawan and Hollywood project Arrangements of Love in the pipeline.
