MUMBAI: Raashii Khanna made her Bollywood debut with the 2013 release Madras Cafe. But, she later moved her way toward South films and starred in many successful Telugu movies. Now, she is all set to make her comeback in Bollywood with Sidharth Malhotra starrer Yodha which also stars Disha Patani in the lead role.

2022 has been a very bumpy year for Raashii. She starred in two flop Telugu films like Pakka Commercial and Thank You. The former starred Gopichand as the male lead, and the latter featured Naga Chaitanya in the lead role, but both the movies couldn’t get audiences to the theatres. However, she gave two back-to-back hits in Tamil with Thiruchitrambalam and Sardar. Thiruchitrambalam also starred Dhanush and Nithya Menen, and Sardar featured Karthi as the male lead.

She currently has Yodha lined up which was slated to release in November this year. However, the film has been postponed. The actress is also gearing up for the release of her web series Farzi which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi. Earlier, this year, Raashii made her OTT debut with Rudra – The Edge of Darkness which starred Ajay Devgn in the lead role.
