On April 14, bullets were reported to have been fired outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's home in the Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai's Bandra neighborhood by residents of West Champaran, Bihar, Vicky Gupta, and Sagar Pal.

In a joint operation, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch and the West Kutch Police from Bhuj, Gujarat, made the arrests late on Monday. They have theft and chain snatching charges lodged against them, and they are history sheeters. The initial inquiry has validated their affiliation with the gang led by Lawrence Bishnoi.

The accused had fired four rounds outside Bandra’s Galaxy Apartments, where Salman Khan resides, around 5:00 am on Sunday and fled the spot. According to top sources, the firing was a pre-planned conspiracy. The two miscreants had reportedly rented a house for a month in Navi Mumbai’s Panvel area, approximately 12 km away from Salman Khan’s farmhouse.

They had also conducted a recce of Galaxy apartment four times before carrying out the attack.

Police are investigating to find out if the accused had conspired to carry out some operation at Khan’s farmhouse at Panvel.

Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the firing outside Salman Khan’s House, top Mumbai Police sources said and claimed that the attack was carried out by gangster Rohit Godara, who operates Bishnoi’s gang in Rajasthan.

After gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi purportedly claimed responsibility for the attack in a Facebook post and signed off, mentioning Rohit Godara, Kala Jathari, Goldy Brar, and Lawrence Bishnoi's group, Godara's name surfaced.

After the event, a substantial number of police officers were stationed outside the actor's Galaxy Apartment.

Following the dismissal, Salman Khan was called by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who also had a meeting with the Mumbai Police Commissioner.

In response to the gunshots that were fired at the actor's residence, Salim Khan, Salman Khan's father, stated there was no need for concern. Salim Khan stated in an interview with the well-known news portal, “There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry.”
