Salman may have launched many new girls through his films but only two actresses have been able to use the Khan platform to further their careers well - Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandes. Salman's fascination with Katrina was quite well known and the magnanimous Khan stood beside her when she was a nobody in the industry promoting her in film after film. With Katrina no more in his life now, it is the Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandes who has managed to capture Salman's good attention these days.

Salman too has been aggressively promoting her as is evident from the recent turn of events especially when he campaigned for the Sri Lankan President with Jacqueline by his side.

Jacqueline too can't thank Salman enough for having supported and believed in her acting abilities. When we asked Jacqueline if she sees Salman as her godfather, the pretty lady said, "Salman is very inspiring. I don't know if he is my godfather, but he is definitely been very lucky for me…very very lucky. He has genuinely supported me, believed in me and given me a lot of confidence."

Elaborating on Salman's largesse, Jacqueline shared, "First of all he signed me for Kick and promoted me. I never realized or understood why I was cast for Kick and at that time I was a very unconventional choice. But then Salman was like, 'You have worked hard and you deserve it so stop thinking of it in any other way because that is actually true.' So small things like that were really important for me and I think it helped me a lot."

While many actresses may have used Salman to further their own careers without acknowledging him, Jacqueline comes across as a different person. "I think I owe him a lot for these things. It’s not just about him casting me in a movie, I think it’s about the things he's taught me as a person," revealed Jacqueline.

Not surprisingly, Jacqueline consults Salman before signing a movie. "I do talk to him, Nadiad (Sajid Nadiadwala) and Sonam (Sonam Kapoor). May be, the 'S' factor is very lucky for me," said Jacqueline.

Well, given the mega projects Jacqueline has bagged post Kick, we can't help but say that Salman is indeed lucky for her.
