Recently, Deepika Padukone posted a picture on her Instagram ID that left us enamoured by her beauty. Interestingly, her notorious boyfriend commented on the picture saying, ‘Mark is right. We should do a lot of it (sic).’

Sanju the biggest opener of 2018

Despite being a non-holiday and a non-festival release, Sanju has seen a phenomenal total on day 1. The movie has crushed Race 3 and Padmaavat to become the biggest opener of 2018. Race 3 earned 29.17 crores, while Sanju has earned a phenomenal amount of 34.75 crores, making it Ranbir Kapoor’s highest opener to date.

Currently, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are tagged as Ralia on the internet. During one of the interviews when Ranbir was asked about it, he said, ‘No, I am not aware of this. But I hope they use it during Brahmastra’s release, as that’s the film we are doing together.’

With hashtag GoCheetaGetBatata, the couple’s wedding was thematically designed by Devika Narain, the woman behind the beautiful Tuscany wedding of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli.

The couple tied the knot in a traditional Indian ceremony at a resort in Goa late last evening in the presence of family members and close friends. Shweta looked vibrant in custom-made wedding attire by Papa Don’t Preach. The wedding’s theme incorporated their love story. The celebrations don’t end just yet. The couple will celebrate their union the Goa way; they are hosting a pool and pyjama party today! Now that’s a fun way to kick in the post-celebrations of your big day!

Speaking of their wedding, the couple jointly said, ‘We walked 7 circles around a fire with the people who are closest to us to make sure heaven keeps us together for the rest of our lives. It doesn’t get better than this!’

Irrfan Khan charms us with his spontaneity in Karwaan

The makers of Karwaan, which stars Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan, and Mithila Palkar, released their trailer earlier this week, and boy, has it been loved by one and all! The wacky dialogues and one-line punches written by Hussain Dalal add quirkiness to the story. The icing on the cake are the few impromptu dialogues by Irrfan Khan that had audiences laughing their guts out. Director Akarsh Khurana reveals the secret behind these rib-tickling dialogues.

There were two dialogues that absolutely stood out in the trailer: ‘Lo Yaar, Allah Miyyan Se Milne Jaa Rahe The Allah Miyyan Ne Apne Paas Hi Bula Liya Sach Much’ and ‘Bhai… mayyat par romance mat kar!’

Commenting on the same, Akarsh said, ‘Hussain and Irrfan shared a great camaraderie on the sets. Both the dialogues were not a part of the script initially; they were spontaneously added by Irrfan and Hussain while jamming on the lines as a response to Dulquer’s dialogues. The entire unit was in splits and couldn’t control their laughter.’

Akarsh also said, ‘The response has been overwhelming and I would like to thank everyone who has been part of this lovely journey. Working with a legend like Irrfan Khan has been a great experience. The talented actor always brings something different to the table with his performances.’

Sanjay Dutt to arrange a special screening of Sanju for the cast of Prasthaanam

Sanjay Dutt is back with a bang with the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster Prasthaanam. The film, which is being produced by Sanjay’s production house and directed by the original film’s director Deva Katta, stars the Munnabhai actor with Ali Fazal, who plays his son, along with Manisha Koirala and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles. The cast is currently shooting for the film in Lucknow.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, Sanju, directed by Rajkumar Hirani with Ranbir Kapoor playing the titular character, released to insane anticipation on Friday. The entire industry has been abuzz since the trailer launch and awaiting with bated breath to watch their Sanju Baba’s story on celluloid. Dutt, who has been supremely excited about the film, has company in the form of his reel-life son Ali, who is equally enthused about the release of the film. Not only is the Victoria and Abdul actor looking forward to seeing the film but the entire cast and crew of Prasthaanam also want to watch the film in the first week itself. Seeing the enthusiasm of his co-actors, especially Ali, who considers Sanjay his role model, Sanjay decided to hold a special screening of Sanju for them in Lucknow.
