MUMBAI : Seerat Kapoor has done many films down South like Run Raja Run, Tiger, Columbus, Raju Gari Gadhi 2, Krishna and His Leela, and more. Now, she is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the film Maarrich which is slated to release on 9th December 2022 and also stars Tusshar Kapoor in the lead role. 

TellyChakkar recently interacted with Seerat, and spoke to the actress about making her Bollywood debut, if there’s a difference between the South and Hindi film industry, and more…

How excited or nervous are you about your Bollywood debut?

This is the first time when many people will see me performing apart from the South audiences. This is a very exciting opportunity. It’s a very happy phase of my life because I have worked hard to earn this opportunity, so when it’s finally happening, I don’t want to overthink. I think right now it’s just about the audience, their reaction, and how they embrace it, that’s all.

We are sure Tusshar would have been an amazing co-star, but how was he on the sets as a producer?

I don’t think he takes designations seriously to impose one over another, he is not like that. I didn’t even realize so many times that he is also the producer of the film. I have scenes with Tusshar in the film and you can tell by the way one speaks to you how humble they are. If there’s anxiety or stress, he is someone who doesn’t show it. It’s been fabulous working with him in every aspect.

Is there any difference between the South and the Hindi film industry?

No, I think the work ethic just depends on the team you are working with. So, in every film that’s different whether it’s a Hindi film or a South film; every atmosphere is different, your team is different and you constantly interact with so many creative minds. So, as far as these things go, there may be something different for a few days, but eventually, the vision is the same for everyone and that is the film, and that is one motive that has connected everyone to the project.
