Anurag Basu is a very successful and renowned director in the Hindi movie industry.

He has directed successful movies like Gangster, Murder 1, Life in a... Metro, Barfi!, Jagga Jasoos etc.

The director has directed his last movie Jagga Jasoos in 2017 and post that he didn't direct any movie.

About a year ago Anurag had announced that he is back to direction after a break and he announced the movie Metro In Dino starring Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sharama, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher as the prominent cast.

As per sources, Ankur Jain has been roped in for the movie.

Not much is known about his character but he would be playing a pivotal role in the show.

Ankur is a known actor and he is best known for his roles in movies like Selfiee, Anuraag Kashyap's Kennedy, Hindi Medium, Shamitabh, Raees, 7 hours to go, and Sharmaji Namkeen.

He has also been part of many web shows like Sacred Games Season 1, and Season 2, Rana Naidu, 'Your Honour - Season 1',  Four More Shots - Season 3, Rudrakaal, Hiccups & Hookups. Hansal Mehta's Scoop, Ranneeti Balakot and  Beyond, Broken News S2 and Bajao.

Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt Ltd present Metro... In Dino. Directed by Anurag Basu, with music by Pritam, and produced By Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu and Taani Basu, the film will be released on 13th September 2024!
