MUMBAI : Jyotika is rejoicing in the success of her most recent release, Shaitaan, which starred Ajay Devgn and has now grossed over Rs 150 crore worldwide. The movie Shaitaan has been grabbing the attention of fans and audiences all over since the trailer was out. The new concept and the popularity of the Gujarati movie Vash has drawn a lot of attention all over the nation. Shaitaan is a remake of Vash.

Jyotika shared a video on Instagram with her co-stars R Madhavan and Ajay Devgn as the caption, "Some films r just destinations! But shaitaan was a journey. A journey of hapiness, memories, creativity, talent and friends for a lifetime. Thank u Devgn films, panorama studios and jio studios for making me part of this fulfilling journey. Congrats to the whole team (sic)."

Jyotika returned to the Hindi film industry after a 26-year hiatus. Her professional career started in 1998 when Priyadarshan's Doli Saja Ke Rakhna was released.

Vikas Bahl is the director of Shaitaan. In addition to Jyotika, Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan play important parts. The supernatural horror film debuted in theaters on March 8. The movie opened with some fantastic response from the fans and audience and has now made Rs 156.5 crore worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year.
