Having said that, today let us have a look at the list of Bollywood celebrities who were replaced by other actors because of the hike in their fees.

1. Sonakshi Sinha

Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha has indeed made her strong mark in the hearts and minds of the fans. Reportedly, she was approached for the movie Kick, which had Salman Khan in the leading role. But due to the rise in the fees, later the role went to Deepika Padukone, and ultimately it was played by Jacqueline Fernandez.

2. Shah Rukh Khan

Baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan is indeed one of the most loved global stars. It was said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali approached Shah Rukh Khan for one of the characters for the movie Padmaavat. But once again, because of the high fees the actor was out of the project.

3. Kareena Kapoor

It was during the release of the movie Mujhse Dosti Karoge when Karan Johar approached Kareena Kapoor for the movie Kal Ho Na Ho. The character of Naina which is played by Preity Zinta was initially offered to Kareena Kapoor but due to the high price demanded by the actress she was not in the project.

4. Sridevi

Late actress Sridevi was indeed one of the most versatile actresses in Bollywood. Reportedly, the character of Shivgami Devi from Baahubali was offered to the actress. But the huge fees demanded by the actress made the role go to Ramya Krishna.

5. Nawazuddin Siddiqui

It was said that actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui was approached for the movie Jolly LLB 2, which had Akshay Kumar in the leading role. Reportedly, Nawazuddin Siddiqui demanded a price of 3.5 crores, which was too much for the makers, and later, the role went to Akshay Kumar.

6. R. Madhavan
