MUMBAI: Two of the most loved Bollywood actresses are Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, over the time both the actresses have made their strong mark in the Bollywood industry with their immense contribution, and today they are the names which need no introduction.

As we all know Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan grew up with their mother Babita who single-handedly raised them after she separated from her husband Randhir Kapoor. In a throwback interview, Kareena had opened up about receiving no financial support from the Kapoor family during their childhood days.

Kareena while interacting with a leading media portal, revealed that her mother single-handedly brought them up. She has a real estate business apart from other small businesses. She added that they were left alone to fend for themselves. However, things have changed now and they see more of their father now more than they used to in their initial years. Kareena added that they are a family now.

Randhir and Babita got married in 1971 after working together in ‘Kal Aaj Aur Kal’. In 1988, Randhir reportedly moved out of their home to live with his parents. Although they never officially got divorced, they have been living separately. However, now they do come together often during festivities and other family events.

On the work front, Kareena will be seen reuniting with her ‘3 idiots’ and ‘Talaash’ co-star Aamir Khan in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The movie is an official Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film, ‘Forrest Gump’. The original movie starred Tom Hanks in the lead role.

Apart from this, Kareena is also a part of Karan Johar’s magnum opus, ‘Takht’.
