We have often seen Neil Nitin Mukesh making headlines for various reasons, but did you know the actor made headlines once because he was detained by the US immigration? Yes, you heard it right. He was detained at the New York Airport when he visited the US for the shoot of his 2009 film New York.

The actor in a media interaction revealed that he was detained by the airport officials for being too fair. Furthermore, he even shared how hard it was for him to convince the authorities of his Indian nationality. 

He asked the officials to Google his name, but even after, that they didn't allow him to go and kept asking him questions with regard to his profession.
