MUMBAI: Shweta Bachchan Nanda, who is Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter, turns a year older. Once again the megastar went on to say daughters are the best as he penned a birthday wish for her. Big B on his Instagram post shared a collage of some throwback pictures right from Shweta's childhood to more recent pictures. These images carried the text Happy Birthday Shweta on them. In the collage, in one of the pictures we can see Shweta all shy with bandhani dupatta on her head and bindi, while in the other picture we can see the father-daughter duo's recent picture.
In his Instagram caption, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Daughters are the best ..” Meanwhile, her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda also wished her mommy as well as her daddy Nikhil Nanda. While Shweta celebrates her birthday today, her husband Nikhil will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow i.e on March 18. Hence, their daughter shared a family picture wishing her parents. Navya captioned this image as, “happy birthday mom & dad nothing better than you.”
Also wishing Shweta is her brother and actor Abhishek Bachchan, the actor shared a throwback picture when they were children nested in their father’s arms. The actor wrote in his caption, “Happy birthday to the big sis. Love you.”

On the work front, Shweta has been a former model. She is now an author and columnist. She also joined hands with designer Monisha Jaising and launched her fashion label, MXS in 2018.
