Creator-producer Siddharth Malhotra adds yet another notch to his belt by venturing into the theatre space. He made the positive announcement on his birthday giving the industry a lot more to celebrate. Instrumental in the 2000s television industry boom, Malhotra has consistently been a game-changer when it comes to content for various platforms - television, films, and web series.

With his latest milestone, Malhotra will take to creating content live for specialized audiences. "I like regularly challenging myself. I like to push the boundaries of content and explore how a story can be told differently every single time. With theatre, there is scope to do so much more and even though it has niche audiences, the platform itself has wide-ranging facets. It's live and exciting and I can't wait for the projects lined up to kick off.", he says.   

After making Sanjivani and Dill Mill Gayye household names and being the pioneer of medical dramas on television, Malhotra directed the commercial and critical success 'Hitchki' starring Rani Mukherjee. He made his mark in the thriving web series space with 'Kaafir', playing the role of producer in the Dia Mirza starrer. More recently, after reinventing 'Sanjivani 2' at a time when content is king, he expanded his horizons further with a Telugu language TV show, 'Madhumasam'. The coming-of-age series revolves around a girl and her journey towards becoming a woman and realizing her dreams.
