MUMBAI: Sidharth and Parineeti’s Jabariya Jodi will be their second venture post their stint in the 2014 movie Hasee Toh Phasee. The film was initially slated to release on May 17th, and now, the makers have announced that the film has been pushed to July 12th.

The film is directed by debutante Prashant Singh and is a romantic comedy based on the practice of the abduction of grooms prevalent in the Indian state of Bihar. The film, co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, and Shailesh R. Singh, would also see Aparshakti Khurana and Javed Jaffrey in pivotal roles.

Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyaar De is slated to release on May 17^th. With Jabariya Jodi being pushed, Ajay’s movie will be getting a solo release. It seems like the makers of have made a good decision.
