Sophie Choudry continues a 9 year long Eid tradition amidst the lockdown!

MUMBAI: Sophie Choudry recently took to her instagram where she spoke about preparing iftar delicacies like roohafza with sabza, pakodas, samosas and fruits for her building staff! This tradition was started off by her nani and her mother and has been going strong since 9 years. So inspite of this being her first Eid without her nani this time, and a lockdown in place, Sophie and her mom still decided to go ahead with the tradition to keep it alive.

When asked about the same, Sophie shares,"This is something my nani and mom have always done for the past 9 years for the whole of Ramzaan. So even though this is the first Eid without nani, we are obviously going to continue the tradition! Especially during these difficult times when our staff mainly are away from their families and everybody is in lockdown together, we just wanted to make sure that they felt comfortable during these times, and had a good Ramzaan celebration as well. Also hoping that life just gets back to normal for everybody soon!".
