MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s soul has departed for the heavenly abode and the tears of the fans refuse to die anytime soon. The actor who ended his life after hanging himself due to mental health was one of the brilliant actors in Bollywood. Reportedly, he was suffering from depression since quite some time but his health deteriorated when he apparently stopped taking his medicines. Before bidding his final adieu to the world, Sushant Singh Rajput was going to do a film with rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Yes, according to a report in Times Now, the duo was supposed to star in their first film together. The actor was gearing up for a film with Rumy Jafry along with rumoured GF Rhea.

According to the director, he told Mumbai Mirror that the script was locked and they were going to kickstart shooting in May. "The script was locked and we were to begin shooting in May. The coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown delayed things. “I lost Irrfan Khan, then Rishi Kapoor and Wajid and now Sushant. I am so disturbed my father has asked me to return home to Bhopal,” Mumbai Mirror quoted the director saying. 

Talking further about the details of the film, he revealed the shoot was supposed to start in Mumbai, followed by a London schedule and the untitled film was expected to wrap things up by November but due to Coronavirus pandemic, early March all shootings were ceased. The film in question was supposed to be a rom-com and was 'a full-fledged dance number' which could have explored Sushant's dancing skills as Rumy he was a fantastic dancer and he wanted to use his skills in his film. 

Meanwhile, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, the Mumbai Police will be interrogating Rhea Chakraborty to record her statement on this matter as she was romantically involved with the late actor. There were also reports that SSR and rumoured GF Rhea Chakraborty had a fight a few days back before the tragic incident.
