MUMBAI: After Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in a police station in Patna, the actress filed for a petition in the Supreme Court asking to transfer the FIR from Patna Police to Mumbai Police. The Apex Court held its first hearing today, however, it did not bring much relief to Rhea. The Supreme Court denied to give interim protection to Rhea and even asked the Mumbai Police to put on record the investigation carried out in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. During the course of hearing, Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi appearing for Bihar Government reportedly said that the Counsel for Maharashtra was arguing as if he was representing Rhea Chakraborty.

As reported by Republic, Counsel for Maharashtra argued that the Mumbai Police was carrying out its job professionally and that all the allegations were 'politically motivated'. At this point, Mukul Rohatgi remarked that the counsel for Maharashtra was arguing as though he was the counsel for Rhea. This came after Sushant Singh Rajput's father's lawyer Vikas Singh pointed fingers at Mumbai Police for destroying crucial evidence in the case.
Now, the Supreme Court has given three days to Mumbai Police to put on record the details of the investigation carried out in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. The court is expected to take up the matter next week.
