MUMBAI : Yesterday, a shocking piece of news came to light in the SSR case. A few WhatsApp chats between Rhea and her close associates were linked to a drug angle, as she by Times Now.

Times Now has spoken to SSR’s family lawyer, who said that the family is shocked to know about this angle. He mentioned that in the family's FIR, they have said that SSR might have been overdosed, but they suspected some kind of medicine and not these kind of drugs.

Vikas also said that when the actor had gone to meet his sisters in January 2020, they found him to be quite restless but didn’t know that this could be the reason. However, they noticed that he wasn’t in a good space.

He also said that Sushant might have been administered something without his knowledge, which then led to his untimely death. He then highlighted that one his staff members had told the media that SSR used to sleep in his room and Rhea and her aides used to party.

Well, with the drug angle being busted, the Narcotics Department will soon step in and probably probe the matter along with CBI.

The investigating is on, and we hope to get a concrete lead soon.
