MUMBAI: From the past one month, the Mumbai Police is neck-deep into the investigation for Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic demise. So far, more than thirty people, including the late actor's father, girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, house staff, personal crew, friends and several honchos from the film industry have been interrogated. Now, as per the latest development by Times Now, the Kai Po Che actor's psychiatrist is the latest one to get summoned by the police officials. In fact, he is being interrogated as you read this.

As per the news portal, Sushant Singh Rajput was consulting the psychiatrist since January this year. As per the prescription recovered from Sushant's room, he was taking the doctor's medicines until May. The same was also testified by a couple of his friends. Further, Times Now reports how the police are likely to ask the late actor's doctor about his depression and why he was consulting him. It is being said that the police are investigating from the professional rivalry point of view and this development will be of some help to them.

"#Breaking | Police has recorded the statement of Sushant's Psychiatrist, whom he had been seeing since January this year," wrote Times as they shared the news.

In other news, Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty recently took to her social media and requested Home Minister Amit Shah to set-up a CBI probe. "Respected  @AmitShah sir, I’m sushants Singh Rajputs girlfriend Rhea chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise. I have complete faith in the government, however in the interest of justice , I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry  into this matter. I only want to understand what pressures, prompted Sushant to take this step. Yours sincerely #satyamevajayate @AmitShah sir."
