MUMBAI: One of the most loved on-screen Jodi is Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, they have been loved by the fans onscreen and offscreen too, they have known each other for many years now! There was a time when they were rumoured to be dating. Their public appearances and photos were enough to make people believe that they are more than just friends. However, neither of the two ever admitted on being in a relationship. All that they would say is how much they admire and respect each other for more reasons than one.

Well, in a 2011 interview with Rajeev Masand, Salman had made a rather unexpected statement about not being okay with Katrina wearing small skirt. While talking about Katrina and how he doesn't watch all her films, Salman made this casual remark about not approving of all that Katrina wears or does. "Once I saw she was wearing a really small skirt and I didn’t like it. But then you have to sometimes chill and let it go. And I don’t have a choice, and it’s better to stay away from those things. I mean I see the promos and get an idea of what is going to be in the film, so it’s better to stay away from that", he was quoted saying.

In this same interview, Salman also spoke about not being a good boyfriend. He said how his idea of a relationship, marriage has never gone down well with the women in his life. 

Interestingly, Salman was also asked if he ever wanted to get married to a woman and she wasn't ready and the actor gave a rather honest reply saying, "It’s better that the girl should not be ready to get married than the guy. If the girl is ready to get married and you don’t want to get married to the girl, it’s not a good situation. So I always hope that the girl should not be ready to get married. It’s lot less painful and the guilt is a lot lesser"

Salman Khan is 54, happily single and considered to be one of the most eligible bachelors of B-town. He continues to maintain a cordial relationship with Katrina and every other actress who were rumoured to have been in relationship in the past. Currently, Salman is linked to Romanian anchor-actress Iulia Vantur. They have apparently been together since over 5 years. However, they are yet to issue any statement regarding their relationship.
